Artist Statement

Through digital illustration, I aim to create artwork that represent my admiration for playful kitsch art. Exploration through current trends has helped curate my art into a simplified style in which audiences can easily engage. My illustrations are made to bring enjoyment and humor to my audience. My dedication to this medium is maintained by the artist community, specifically the evolution brought on by new age artists and their insurgence of pushing past traditional notions – from designs to morals. 

 

New to ceramics I aim to explore the medium more and push my technical skills. My main goal is to find the best path to integrating my illustrative style into my pottery. I aim to grow in this medium and to explore how to push my art past my comfortable two dimensional format.
